Typical “Japanese” Japanese bar where you will be turned away. Don’t bother unless your Japanese. We are full was the excuse given. “A hidden gem”
Friendly, unpretentious, cheap, fun, charming staff. Spent several evenings in here recently, during the Rugby World Cup (screens everywhere, well done!). Good food, correct (not generous) proportions, a nice balance between Japanese and Irish/European. Excellent cooking. I have had their Mexican wr...aps (tasty, if a bit small), buffalo wings (far more meat than most places - and spicy!), and several times their wonderful fish and chips. Cheapest pint of Guinness I have found in Shimbashi.
