“Avoid this restaurant - tourist trap”
Bad service from the team lead. Rude and o respect to patrons who are willing to have a good time. Avoid this restaurant and ignores the so call good reviews. This restaurant doesn’t deserve it with the cure my staff members

“Love love love it!”
We had a lovely meal at Yakitori Imai tonight. The restaurant is small but stylish with a joyful atmosphere. It is in a bit of an obscure location (have trust in your cab driver). The staff is friendly and helpful and more than willing to try to explain each and every one of the 16 small plates whic...h comprised our set menu meal. Most speak at least some English. After carefully inquiring about food allergies and preferences (yes we are happy to try anything that might be offered including organ meats and cartilage - in very small quantities - chicken, duck, pork and a host of vegetables) we were treated to a cavalcade of amazing tastes too varied to enumerate here. Make the effort to score a much needed reservation and enjoy a great meal. This restaurant was deemed “essential “ by Eater.com for a reason...

“Different twist on your traditional yakitori”
This place is quite difficult to find as it is located in a residential neighborhood. But it is quite the find once you do get there. The chef was previously from Birdland in Ginza and brings the same intensity and presentation to his food. I love how he fuses European flavors in traditional Japanes...e skewers. Do try the caciocavallo cheese skewer. We had several excellent glasses of craft beer then ended with an excellent Japanese white

“Great chicken”
When you go here, grilled chicken is what you get. We were seated along the counter, where we could watch the chefs preparing one great chicken dish after another. You get the impression that you are eating all different pars of the bird, and it all tasted great. Service was efficient, but not overl...y friendly.

“Horrible Dinner”
Do not come here. We were served ~10 bites the entire meal over the course of two hours. Any normal yakitori restaurant in Tokyo is $2 a dish, yet this meal cost $80 / person. And it wasn’t even good. An absolute rip off. They told us they were out of beef, yet continued to serve beef to the Japanes...e customers there. Such a bad meal!
