鮨 ふるかわ

I went with a friend and we ate omakase style, the chef was putting the food without us ordering anything in particular. It was all very good. If I return to Tokyo, this would be a place to repeat.

Don't order, ask o-itamae to prepare lunch/dinner according to what is either available or what he thinks is best. It will easily turn out to be a meal you won't forget easily forget. I really loved it (and, trust me, I know a couple of things about Japanese food).

I am a sushi lover and this place absolutely blows your mind. It is a small sushi restaurant with 9 seats at the bar and two small tables. The sushi chef, Mr Furukawa, started as an apprentice in his teens and is now 70+ years. And you can tell from the sashimi and sushi he serves. Absolutely astoun...ding! My two favourites are Rusy Seabass sashimi with truffle oil and Seabass sushi with swordfish liver. But every piece is close to perfection. I can only recommend this fully.
