“Go to this restaurant”
This is a funky, tiny place in Nikko with amazing food. The women running the place are awesome. Prices are very reasonable if not crazy low for the location. Highly recommend.

“One of the best meals”
One of the best meals of the trip, very tasty, it takes a long time for the dishes to come out because it is a small restaurant, but it receives a lot of tourists so it shows how popular and how well they welcome people, I highly recommend it.

“Quick service, good meal”
Had lunch here recently. We ordered the Tonkatsu + Yakisoba Set and the Curry Tonkatsu. The Tonkatsu was crispy and succulent. We enjoyed our meal and we didn’t have to wait long. It is walking distance to the Shinkyo Bridge. Our meal for 2 cost ¥3100 without beverage.

“Great service and food ”
Fantastic, friendly service. Delicious lunch. Staff were very understanding of my gluten intolerance and were able to accomodate by changing the yakatori to be gluten free and I was able to eat edamame as well!

“Fabulous little cafe - check out the post-its on the walls!”
This is a fabulous little cafe, very inexpensive and a genuine meeting point for international travellers. The walls are smothered in post-its containing messages and notes that stretch back years. Every table has a small post-it block and pen so you can contribute to the wall. Food is great and the...y have chilled beer or soft drinks to wash it down. Easy to miss this place because it doesn’t look like a restaurant from the outside, so best to check one of the outside photos (I have uploaded one) so you know what you are looking for.
