“Heaven shop ”
One of the most difficult reservations in Tokyo, we were lucky to dine with Chef Arai on our annual trip with PlanJapan 🍣 The legendary tuna is as good as advertised — he serves 4 different cuts that combine a butter texture with perfect richness. It’s just a spectacular bar with the famous lacquere...d black counter and unreal quality across the board

“Great place for sushi omakase”
Great sushi place, worth visiting. Love the rice vs fish taste profile.. The sequence of the dishes were also nicely done.

Loved everything about this place - the sushi was outstanding, the vibe intimate & authentic, and the staff and fellow guests were super friendly. Made for a very memorable lunch!

“Sushi Arai is truly a gem.”
Sushi Arai is truly a gem. Definitely our favorite restaurant of our 2019 food trip to Tokyo. We started out with the yummy yuzu Shirako chawanmushi. Then went on 16 more items. We ended with a clam soup and tamagoyaki. Everything was scrumptious. The bonito was divine. Do yourself a favor and book ...yourself a reservation. We booked the “tourist’s counter” lunch via pocket concierge 😂. Also a delight that our chef was friendly.

“met every standard of omakase course”
the course was very common compare with any other premium omakase sushi restaurant. service was great and nothing to complain
