“Nachos as a work of art, and craft beers, too?? Great, fun discovery.”
Soul Bird seems to be appropriately named, as it appears to be run by a free spirit. Having been intrigued by seeing the outside sign (“Be Young * Be Foolish * Be Happy * Be Tough”) over many months, I finally went in to give some beers and a snack a try. The first thing you notice walking in is th...e large map of Japan, drawn in chalk, with craft breweries from all over Japan written in. The first brew I tried was the PinnerThrowback IPA (from Colorado’s Oskar Blues, who really know their IPAs) and the next was the Japanese golden ale from “Be Easy” They were both excellent. They change the kegs often, so I’m sure to never be able to go back often enough to try them all. The Nachos came looking like a work of art. I have had many fine meals where presentation was a key element, but a snack dish of carefully- arranged nachos? Never before! The nachos were not the usual pressed – fried corn meal, but more like a thin version of a mille feuille dough – unconventional, and very tasty, too. My server was friendly and quick, really good service. I’ll definitely go back for more.

“Great beer and food”
Great meal two courses a pork dish and octopus with rice. Really nice and the servers speak a little English which is so helpful. Beer great 450ml 880 yen but fabulous craft beers American style ipa. Recommend this to real ale freaks!
