“Warm nice French dishes but not too fancy.”
Sometimes you want to eat French but something not too fancy or pricey. I think this warm and nice restaurant will serve just about right. Very comfortable and quite popular amongst the Japanese too. I’d love to go again.

“Worth a trip...”
as one gourmet guide likes to say about restaurants with outstanding food. Kinoshita is located within a triad of 3 stations. Chef-owner Kazuhiko Kinoshita has been cooking for over 25 years and is a genius at combining unpretentious simplicity with an inherent understanding of flavors to create d...ishes that will have you saying, "Wow!" To wit, a pork confit on a mirepoix of eggplant and zucchini, with a broiled merguez sausage on the side and a dollop of real "up in your nose" Dijon mustard; home smoked salmon on a giant blini; a terrine of grapefruit and hassaku oranges in raspberry gelée with a scoop of melon sorbet. Portions are not microsopic "tasting" size, either. The 3 course lunch includes beverage and is a deal at ¥2,500. The more expensive dinner options allow you to customize your experience with additional charges depending on the item but include down to earth authentic bistro dishes like grilled blood sausages with apple compote, a lasagna of Wagyu beef and chitterlings, as well as more standard, but not boring, fare. There is an impressive wine list to complement your meal as well as 6 wines by the glass.
