Japanese friends took us here for lunch, while shopping around Motomachi. The bakery/bistro has a casual air; tables are few and have little space between them; however, the place is packed with patrons before, during, and after our meal there. The set lunches, costing about 17-20USD/person, seem po...pular. A sampling of freshly-baked bread are served FOC with the set meals. I was satisfied with the mains of salmon with gratin. Beer was served perfectly chilled. Service is welcoming and easy. Our meal seemed most relaxing, and this was perfect since we had some more sightseeing to do that afternoon. Recommendable.

The first reviewer made a mistake. The official name is Restaurant Kaori without "s". It is a French restaurant but on the first floor is a tea house. It has great cake which is very creative and the place is quite relaxing. Will have to try their French restaurant when I return next time.

I had afternoon tea at Kaoris in Yokohama. This restaurant was featured on some local magazines so I decided to try their afternoon tea set. I waited 15 mins for the frozen berries pancakes and it taste very average. I also tried the fruit tea which didn't impress me. The pancake costs 980 JPY a...nd fruit tea costs 600 JPY. Seems that the set lunch is more popular for the local people.
