Makimura's restaurant is an absolute gem. One of the most unique restaurants I have been in the world. It is a small restaurant with approximately 7 seats that are available for prior reservation. His specialty are vegetable dishes and he is able to cater to meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. ... My wife and I are both vegetarian and she has a severe gluten allergy, while our other friends (5) did not have any dietary restrictions. Maki was able to make wonderful dishes for all of us to enjoy. Maki took particular care of my wife's allergies, he thoroughly read through her Japanese translation allergy card that we presented to him. He carefully went over all the items that he was using with us and when in doubt he would show us the item and we would google search or google translate if needed with his help. Not everyone on our trip went to this care and dedication he showed. She did not experience any gluten related symptoms so it was a true gluten free success. Maki really stands out in customer care and delicious food. Maki is the owner and chef and prepares high quality dishes with the freshest vegetables. Maki is very kind and hospitable. His wine selection were also spectacular. Maki has a very bright future and we are so happy to have been able to experience his restaurant. We cannot wait to go again, it was one of the best highlights of our japan trip. El restaurante de Maki es un sitio muy especial. Tiene espacio para 7 personas y aceptan reservaciones. La especialidad de Maki es en un menu rico en vegetales pero tiene platos con carne también. Tuvimos muy buena experiencia con personas que solo comen vegetariano ademas de una persona que es "Gluten Free" por alergia, que no tuvo ningún problema en lo absoluto. Maki presto mucha atención a las necesidades de la persona q es gluten free y demostró mucho o interés en acomodarla de la mejor forma posible. Les recomendamos este restaurante. Maki tiene un futuro brillante en la cocina japonesa y nos consideramos afortunados de haber podido visitar su restaurante.

This restaurant is run by greengrocer. Vegetable all harvested in japan will be served. Very fresh and delicious. I’m sure you can enjoy selected NATURE WINE here as well as fresh vege and fruits. Those who love nature wine must visit here. Vegan dish can be also served if you ask them. You can e...xperience various kinds of vegetable and fruits. Both japanese and foreign people can enjoy the dishes with vege and fruits you do not rarely see in other restaurants. There is not maybe seats, but very cozy and comfortable. The specialty vege cellar in the restaurant is very beautiful. One of the must-go restaurants in Tokyo!!
