“Good experience”
Kajiyama is ocated about 8 minutes walk from Roppongi station, in a basement of a commercial building. I believe Kajiyama is the owner / chief's last name. The restaurant is very small, with 12 seats only, grouped into 3 small rooms, two of which is connectable. Dinner is by reservation only and do ...not accept walk-in customers. Customers would know why after they finished the dinner. When I walked to the door, a young lady is already waiting at the door for me, and led us to the dinning room. We reserved Yen15,000 course for two. The menu was hand written characters in Japanese and English. There are a total of 11 courses, each served one after one. Dishes include scallop, small fried fish, pork belly, beef, clam soup, grill fish, etc, all cooked delicately. I am not a dessert lover but found the desserts tangerine jelly and strawberry mousse very good. It is a Japanese and French fusion course. Most of the course, not all, are fantastic. Having said that, it is a fantastic experience to enjoy such a fine dinner, which one do not always have such opportunity. It is a bit expensive but worth it.
