“Actually good, but "average" considering the level”
This was not my first time here. The atmosphere is very nice and the owner-chef a real professional. Perhaps on that particular evening something went the other way and I must say, that considering the high level of this restaurant, I was just a little bit disappointed. The wine selection however wa...s superb and the entrees were up to standard. It was actually the main dish that took me off-guard, but maybe the fault lies with budget restrictions from our side. I did not like the dessert either, which was certainly caused by my being in a hurry and picky. It must be said that Tokyo is a very competitive market especially in the high segment, I would have appreciated if some tasty venison (deer or boar) were on my plate.

“Surprisingly good”
Had a great Christmas themed dinner at Habsburg Ginza not knowing what to expect from Austrian Japanese fusion. Was blown away - the food is much more Japanese than it is Austrian (thank goodness). The room is lovely, the service was impeccable. The wine match was also sensational. Lots of luxe... ingredients (foie gras, truffles) which may have just been for Christmas. Thoroughly recommended.
