“Terrible Experience and a Rip-Off”
The food was below average, they rushed us through every course and were strict to the point of removing the food from before us before we were done. When my wife asked for some extra chilli powder, they said they would charge ¥300 which I thought was ridiculous. They charged us so much extra - for ...water and tea and never informed us of a 15% service charge which the levy over and above the already ridiculously high price. All in all a terrible experience, and what’s worse is that you feel ripped off. Have had much better experiences all over Japan for much less, totally not worth a visit even.

“Do not go.”
Do not go. The food was poor quality. There was cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen. I think the price they charge is almost fraudulent.

“Fabulous vegetarian food”
Had a great dining experience at Daigo. They serve vegetarian food that is beautifully presented and very tasty. Service is excellent.

“Surprisingly good tasting Shojin or Vegetarian fine dining”
Located next to a temple, this 1 Michelin Star Restaurant in Tokyo served very good and well presented healthy vegetarian or Shojin japanese Omakase or Keiseki. The restaurant is very traditional japanese, like in a ryokan. The service was typically japanese, very nice and perfect. Every dish presen...tes was a surprise both in beautiful presentation and very good taste.

“Vegetarian kaiseke with garden view”
An excellent interpretation of kaiseke Japanese cuisine. We had the vegetarian version of this dinner. The food was creative and the staff was very attentive. The view of the garden was an added bonus to the dining experience. We will definitely return again.
