“Delicious”
After a temple volunteer told me that they have an overwhelming love for sea eel above all seafood, I tried it at Unagi Senmi. Arrived at 11:30 opening time. Though the staff of two spoke no English, they gave a very friendly reception. Picture menus so easy ordering. I chose a larger-size lunch tha...t came with lots of eel on rice plus tea, salad, and soup. Cost was 4,000 yen. (They also serve a rice bowl with eel, which I understand to be their signature dish, for 2,700 yen.) I know nothing of eel beyond this sitting, but the taste was most delicious and a pleasing revelation.
