The review is essentially the one that I wrote on another social media platform. The wagyu tasting dinner was a surreal experience, set in a cozy place that encourages discourse with the chef and his staff. Each wagyu and sake pairing was an intimate culinary experience. Kiyo, the chef, would expl...ain how the wagyu was prepared. For many of the dishes, sitting on the counter, I saw his preparation. Tei described the same served (according to the quadrant chart she first presented to start the sake tasting event). And Hyeri added details to each of the process. Kiyo mentioned the wagyu served was from Kagoshima, which has won the best wagyu award twice in past six years, including in 2022. And the menu is seasonal. Tei created many of the complaints served. Including the ponzu and spicy miso sauce, which are available for purchase. Looking forward to trying the spicy miso sauce now that I am back home Enjoyed all of the wagyu dishes and a few of the sake drinks stood out as I’ve never tried them, including the unfermented ones. Thanks again Kiyo, Tei, and Hyeri. Will drop by when next in Tokyo.

If they had more stars on TripAdvisor, I would give them to EMC! What an experience! We booked dinner with sake pairing. Tei and her husband are a tremendous combination! They do from scratch even the soy sauce! Which BTW was the best soy sauce we have tried (and one of us is a chef)! They cook ever...ything in front of you, which that on itself is a super nice experience. The guayu was the freshest and highest quality we have tried in Tokyo or anywhere else. They cooked it in different forms, and the taste vastly varied depending on the sake pairing. The attention to detail, the customer service, the quality of the ingredients, the size of the restaurant, everything was a memorable experience we wish to have the opportunity to live again next time we are in Tokyo.
