“Simple Soba and Tantalising Tempura”
Tucked in a side street in Akasaka is this gem of a place for a good Soba and tempura. Read the reviews that said it was very popular with the working class around the neighborhood. So we went for an early dinner and were seated separately from the kids in the smallish place. We noted that it was s...imply decorated but with clean lines of a more expensive restaurant. The staff spoke little English, so point and order. My wife ordered her favorite cold soba while I had a hot soba in soup. The generous servings of Soba came with a few pieces of immaculately breaded tempura. It isn’t a place to sit around and chit chat, but we were grateful for a good meal that filled the heart as well as the stomach.

“Good food”
Small, crowded place off a side street. Found a table for four within a few minutes. Menu in both English and Japanese. Good food, lots of variety.

“Amazing Cold Soba Noodles”
2 nights in a row it was that amazing This is not a place for a long and extensive dinner but if you are on your own or in a small group and are looking for a quick but high quality meal this place is fantastic. I had the cold soba with tempura prawn and veggies and it was beyond delicious High...ly recommend this restaurant

“Must try! ”
We eat this every time we visit Tokyo! Great value for money! Good food! Soba is very nice. Queue can be long during weekday lunchtime because of the working area in Akasaka. Sunday afternoon is probably the best time to eat! Enjoy!

“Great Soba restaurant but really cramped and uncomfortable seats and table”
The soba here is great with lots of choice and an English menu. However the queue is often long resulting in a long wait and if the weather is bad, good luck as the wait is in the street outside. Once inside the service is OK but the seats and tables are tiny. Everyone is crammed into the smallest t...ables and seats, shoulder to shoulder, It is uncomfortable. If you are larger than a small Japanese person then be prepared for an uncomfortable squash. The staff cannot even get everything on the tables. Water is served with the meals and this is unusual as a soba restaurant nearly always serves soba tea. However you get the feeling that this is not a welcoming place. This is not a restaurant for wheelchair access or people with a mobility problem.
