SHARES

I've eaten all over the world including many times and many places in Japan, but this was one of the best steaks I've had anywhere. I was fortunate to be with a local and regular of the restaurant who helped and guided me, but the team there were so friendly and helpful that it wouldn't have matte...red if I had been alone. All of the food was great, but the ribeye steak was one of the best I have ever eaten anywhere in the world -- I do not exaggerate in the slightest - it was incredibly good. This is a small place like so many in Japan -- if you are coming to Japan, avoid the big "touristy" places - be brave enough to come in to the small restaurants and bars. This one would probably seat 12 people -- they may have an upstairs, but not sure. I am due back in Japan in a few weeks and WILL be coming here again. I mainly eat and love Japanese food, but once per 10 days trip, I step out of local - and this is where I will step to. Thank you so, so much.

We're big fans of Shares! With had a great dinner there again tonight. The Iberian Pork was superb, as was the shell fish special! We found the Mexican Ceviche to be lacking a little bit of taste, but very good and fresh. A good tip is to always order off the Specials Menu, which is written in Jap...anese only. We also very much enjoyed the Lemon Sours, which were different than the others we've recently had!

Went here tonight - our last meal in Tokyo before being gone for a month. We ordered the (1) baked oysters and spinach, (2) cheese and meat plate, (3) green salad, and (4) the fried chicken. All were delicious, but we were most impressed with the baked oysters, largely because we don't typically lik...e cooked Japanese oysters. We were happy we took this risk! Shares is great! It has a friendly atmosphere and some amazing food.

Tonight was our first time at Shares. It won't be our last. As new Kachidoki residents, we stumbled into the restaurant while exploring the neighborhood this evening. What a great find! The daily specials were kindly explained to us in English by our server. We absolutely loved the peaches and mozz...arella as well as the octopus ceviche. We ended the meal by sharing the Mexican Burger, which was also excellent. One other reviewer suggested this might be the best restaurant in Kachidoki. They were probably right.

In my opinion this is the best restaurant in all of Kachidoki. They have the best steaks and fried chicken around. They also have great buffalo wings and thin cut prime rib. The hamburgers/cheeseburgers are also very good. One warning about the steaks,pork,hamburgers is to make sure you ask about ge...tting them cooked more than just rare. If you are in the area of Kachidoki and are looking for a great beef place try Shares! Kevin
