This restaurant is hidden very close to our hotel. The pictures on the wall of the food do not do the food justice. It’s exceptional!! The service is excellent. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s very busy but the staff find you a table quickly.

Amazing! We had the black tonkatsu and whatever the recommended tonkatsu was (it said recommended in English at the top); both were delicious! The recommended one Was served steaming and they gave you a cute bib. We got the sets with miso soup and rice. They also have cute shirts for sale as great s...ouvenirs. When you walk in you sanitize your hands and wait for them to seat you. Highly recommend.

I've never had a situation where when I finished a dish, I was actually sad ... until dinner here! I chose the hotel based on the reviews here on TripAdvisor as well as its proximity to our hotel. And because of some of the comments, we all ordered various plates that had black pork tonkatsu. Oh ...... my ... gawd! It's kind of similar to a wienerschnitzel if you've never had it but this was so tender that you could breathe on it and it would cut apart! When I looked down on it and saw I had one piece remaining, THIS was when I was so heartbroken! I wasn't ready for it to be finished! This is not a haute cuisine restaurant but a simple neighborhood restaurant and the staff speaks minimal English but this wasn't a problem for us, especially if you have a Google Translator app on your phone (or just do lots of pointing!). TOTALLY worth an evening here!

Delicious and fresh! We stopped in after a long day of traveling between cities. Food was hot, fresh, and amazingly good. Also a lot of food in each meal, which we appreciated!
