“Even the Japanese are surprised at how fresh it is. There are also sushi with unusual ingredients. Delicious sushi bar”
A non-major but very tasty conveyor-belt sushi bar located on a U.S. military base in Yokosuka, Japan. The restaurant also sells sushi bento boxes, a rarity in Japan. The restaurant is run by a fishmonger, so you can enjoy delicious seasonal fish. The restaurant is very popular and people of various... nationalities can be seen. If you have a chance to visit Yokosuka, it is definitely worth a visit.

“Great sushi, good prices for Japan, they even had whale sushi”
My friend took me here and I was glad he did. Great sushi, easy to understand and pick what you want, great service. I joked "I've never eaten whale." He said, "They sometimes have it." After getting the Japanese word for "whale," I asked the waitress and she pointed out the sushi as it drifted ...by. I harpooned that sucker. 2 pieces for about 6 USD. Tastes like raw beef and horse. All the other regular sushi was great. We left after eating about 6 plates each (12 pieces) and a drink for about 15 USD each.

It's a rotary so its always fast and fresh but the quality is outstanding. We were in and out and happy with everything. The prices are good too, we'll certainly be back.

“Amazing sushi”
This place is awesome! I go at least twice a week while I’m in Yokosuka. The fish is always fresh and the pieces of fish are very large. The high quality fatty tuna is to die for, I crave it when I go home!

“Delectably Oiishi!!”
The name of this establishment translates to "fish mongers fresh sushi" and they are true to their name. You can tell the fish was harvested just hours earlier from the nearby sea. The freshness, quality, portions, and price combine to make this one of the best sushi values I've had in over 30 years... of visiting Japan. My wife and I polished off 17 plates and paid a little over JPY5,000, a real bargain! The maguro was especially good as was the hotate. As with places like this, if you don't see what you want passing in front of you, you can order directly from the chef. My bell weather at Japanese restaurants is their soup which can be too salty, but the calm miso soup served here was fresh, light and flavorful. Avoid filling up on beer to enjoy the variety of sushi offered. We were delighted to discover this wonderful gem hidden under the Keikyu Yokosuka Chuo train station and happily recommend it to other sushi lovers.
