“Why eat mediocre food in Japan?”
This place has an all-you can-eat buffet for 1834 yen. That sounds like a good deal, but it really isn't. The food is totally mediocre. There is, in principle, sushi and tempura - but you have to extract the sushi from a hostile lady who gives you as little as she can. She also doesn't bother to sha...pe the sushi rice, or maybe it just isn't made right, either way it falls apart the moment you try to eat it (to be fair, the fish was fairly fresh -this is Japan, after all). The dessert is similarly indifferent, mostly jelly and canned fruit and sponge cake. For another 1400 yen you can drink all you want, but - you guessed it - the drinks are mediocre. Mostly cheap hard-liquor stuff.
