“Japanese chain restaurant, cheap, typical dish”
If you are in Japan as a foreigner, you have to go here once. This is a no fill kind of place where you go in and buy your food in the vending machine. Just choose the gyudon sign and you can decide to get extra rice or extra meat or whatever you want. They have special meals too, so check the menu ...carefully. The menu has English writing for the foreigners, so do not freak out. They also have pictures! The seating is around a bar. Just place your ticket on the table and the waiter will show up with water, pick up your ticket and go back in and get your food. It should not take more than 5 minutes for your meal to come out.
