“La Table Joel Robuchon”
The Joel Robuchon was closed for renovation in our city, and since we are in Tokyo, I think it will be nice to go as I'm craving for their food ! We chose La Table in Yebisu and it never disappoint ! Usually excellent service and food, we are heartwarmingly well taking care by their Manager Mr Ravi...nd Joorawon, who spend quality time with us. And it's real pleasure to meet Chef Ikeda as well. Will be back soon, even though the new one in our city will be reopened in August !

“Disappointed for Michelin”
The time between courses was too long- often waiting 15-20 minutes. The meal with 2 appetizers, main entree, and dessert took almost 3 hours. Others who arrived later seemed to received faster food service. I requested no green onions yet my main entree came with green onions. It was returned to the... kitchen so they picked out the onions. I don’t think that is acceptable for a Michelin star restaurant. Most average restaurants would offer compensation with such a grave error. I ordered a glass of wine and it didn’t seem fresh and the pour was very small for the price. Food presentation was outstanding. Due to service issues, I would likely not recommend.

“Disappointing tasting menu quality and atmosphere.”
Poor tasting menu. Main entree was pigeon. Staff was ponderous. Atmosphere felt tired and old with its periwinkle purple paint out of the 1990s. Disappointing, as we used to cherish Le Atelier and Robuchon’s other restaurants around the world. Not a single dish was memorable or particularly enjoyabl...e. I’m shocked this property is still the recipient of a Michelin star.

“True to Robuchon”
We have enjoyed JR at the L'Ateliers in Las Vegas and Paris, so this ultra rare Le Table concept was a third continent option that was truly special. If you know, you know. This was our concierge's first recommendation when the uber-famous L'Osier was not open on the evenings we were in Tokyo.

“We’ll be back!”
My friend and I were fortunate to visit three different 2-star Michelin restaurants over this past week’s visit to Tokyo - one Kyoto style, one Kaiseki, and one French. I expected the Japanese styles would be the best given the locale, but the clear winner for us was La Table de Joël Robuchon. I was...n’t expecting it but every one of the courses was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. They just keep getting better and better. For me it’s now a can’t miss in Tokyo. Special shout out to one of our servers Jugiwala (apologies for misspelling) and of course the chef!
