My wife and I were looking for a quick and tasty meal in Tokyo Square Garden, and tried Ramen Noodle Yamatoten and their Abura soba. Our first time, was the Salted pork with lime vinegar bowl, and was delicious. Washed it down with beer and my wife had a sour. The staff were friendly and guided us t...hrough the meal. The following nights we tried the side dishes, we especially liked the tomato salad, the gyoza and tofu, as well as the abura soba. We got to know the team and they were helpful and as they weren’t Japanese we could chat about sport and general stuff, at least when it wasn’t busy. It’s not Kaiseki cuisine, but is delicious, varied and the team, three guys, know their stuff. We have been coming to Japan for a few years, and the food is always pretty good, but abura soba is now a new favourite.

たぶんプラスチックのパウチみたいなものの破片だと思うのですが、麺の中に入っており、幸い口に入れた際に違和感があり飲み込まずに済んだのですが、飲み込んだら危なかったと、ショックを受けました。 ですがその後更にショックを受けたのは、店員さんに「これ入ってたんですけど、何ですか？！」と抗議した際、「分かりません」で済まされそうになった事でした。 「分かりませんではなく、分かる人を連れてきてください」と言い、中から出てきた人に、「危ないので気を付けてください！」と、一応伝えたい事は伝えましたが、お代も普通に払いましたし、誠意を感じられなかったです。 ショック過ぎて味は全く覚えていません。仮に美味しかっ...たとしても、危険な目に合うのなら話になりません。 表には出さなかっただけで実際は反省していて、もう二度と起こらないよう気を付けてくれている事を願います。 I was shocked when I found piece of plastic in the noodle bowl. Fortunately, I found it's so uncomfortable when it's in my mouth, so did not swallow it, but it's very dangerous. But I was shocked more when I asked a waitress what it was in the food, and she just replied 'I don't know.' I rejected to accept her answer and asked to fetch someone who knows, and told be careful as it's very dangerous, to the someone came out from the kitchen. They did not show any goodwill either. I was so shocked that I can't remember how it tasted, but unless it's safe, how it tastes means nothing. Hope it's just they failed to show that, but regretted greatly and try their best to avoid this happening again.
