“Hidden gem”
Tucked in the basement of Palace Building, we stumbled on this great find. This is the first review in English and that’s not surprising since it’s not the usual tourist stop which in itself is a good sign. This eatery comprises a few different sections so choose what you want to eat and sit there. ... We had the rice bowls and there’s just a choice of 4, all in Japanese. We asked which was most popular and ordered 2 of that. Turned out to be an excellent choice of delicious rice with raw fish, mentaiko, anchovies and a soft egg yolk in the middle. Fresh wasabi that was very potent in the bowl too and pickles and soup to complete the set. Service was effective and fast.
