“very acceptable dining experience”
small but surprising italian restaurant in a poor hotel- food was very acceptable and very reasonably priced with a very good lunch deal available too - recommend if on a budget in tokyo

Food here is super tasty and reasonably priced. I highly highly recommend the tomato garlic pasta as well as one of the cream sauce based ones. Do not skip on the tomato garlic pasta though, it will be one of the best pasta dishes you will ever have in your life. That being said, service here was ac...tually not that great for Japan's standards. Came here with a group of 7 and they refused to let us try to sit together even though there was space.... The food and service is much better at their Shibuya location.

“Dinner in Shinjuku”
We had the set menu, which included salad and pizza, and it was reasonable. However, the Japanese should really leave Italian food to the Italians, and just stick to Japanese food.

“Lovely”
We met our Japan-based friends here for dinner and we had a couple of pastas and pizzas. Everything was good! The ambiance was low key but elegant.

“good value Italian”
I'm sure there used to be many more branches of Capricciosa in Tokyo, where you could always get a fairly decent Italian meal. Various permutations of meal-sets available, as always. We shared a pizza and a pasta dish both good.
