“Pretty decent but not amazing ”
We enjoyed an impromptu drink and light snacks at the bar. They were busy, but the bar staff although not speaking too much English found some room for us at the bar. Without being overly friendly the bar staff were efficient and cordial. We didn’t try too much food, so can only review what we had, ...and to be honest it was quite good. The sashimi of tuna was fresh and the octopus was crunchy which was a first for me. We also tried a Kyoto region dish of sashimi and a raw egg in a yam paste. Although it looked a little like ‘baby food’ (once mixed up), it was surprisingly delicious. It had a course texture from the yam paste but the egg gave it a lot of flavour and the sashimi complemented it perfectly. The restaurant had a pretty young and chilled crowd and there seems to be a few groups out enjoying themselves on a Friday night. If you’re looking for a causal but fun night with decent food, you can’t really go that wrong here: it was perhaps a little pricey, but not too much considering the food was of a pretty good standard.

“Disappointing”
The food is fine. It is average level in Tokyo. However, the cover charge is SUPER expensive. Drinks selection is good. Atmosphere is average. Wait staff are fine except they got our order wrong TWICE.

“Very nice, cosy restaurant”
We were walking around the Ebisu area looking for a place to eat for dinner. The menu read well from the outside and the place had a good atmosphere so we decided to try Ubcra out. We had some great food, could watch the chefs at work which was entertaining and was reasonably priced. We had a very g...ood dining experience here.

“Great place in ebisu”
Been coming here for 10 years plus, great - it's more a couples place than family with kids fyi -They play jazz -The atmosphere is good -Open kitchen you can see the Yakitori etc being made -English menu -food is great - staff friendly - reasonable cost -beer is served in silver "goblets" lol O...verall : great !

“Typical great Japanese place”
Food is excellent. Many choices. They also have reasonable wine selection. I was just wondering g around and went in before reading any reviews. For sure I will come back here.
