“What a fun thing to do! Beyond expectations!”
As karaoke being one of the stereotypical things of Japan we had to to this! After having some strange experiences in this area, we decided to do some research before entering the first karaoke we saw. Karaoke Kan is a company with multiple karaoke bars, which have a good reputation. The staff wa...s very friendly and helpful here. You pay per time you want to stay. It’s a fun thing to do to start or end your evening! Karaoke in here / in Tokyo is something completely different compared to Europe or other places we know. Here it’s not a big bar where you can sit and take the mic for the whole bar. In Tokyo you get a private room with your own karaoke installation. You have a big list of drinks you can order which will be served in your room. People in Tokyo do this with there friends or colleagues after work to get destressed. It’s a fun thing to do, even if you’re just traveling with two. There are even people here wo book a room to sing alone.

“So much fun!”
We took our big kids, and EVERYONE had a great time! We ended up extending our time, and could easily have spent yet another hour! The staff was helpful on how to handle the screen and choose the songs, drinks were good, and the price was absolutely ok for so much fun! We went here because we believ...ed (from the name) that it was the karaoke-bar famous from the movie Lost in Translation - same chain but slightly different location though. It didn't matter one minute, we still had a great time! :-D
