“Totally unpleasant experience”
Do not eat here, you will be ripped off. We ordered the skewer choice of 5 expecting to get a deal. We were told that the selection would be the “chef’s choice”, which was fine. When we received the five we realized that the total value of the 5 “selected by the chef” was less than the the listed... value of the meal. When we asked the staff about it, we were told unapologetically by the one American on the staff that this was due to “cultural differences”. We find this to be not only poor customer service, but really a slap in the face to the Japanese people and ethos. This was truly unfortunate, we recommend avoiding this restaurant.

“Loved this place”
Been a warm day here in Harajuku so we were looking for a beer house .. Found Bairds .. Absolutely superb .. The beer was great .. huge selection for Japan .. Proprietor was excellent and gave us a few hints on where we should be headed .. and he has proper beer glasses rather than the rediculous te...a cups you get in most restaurants. Staff were great too .. never ate but the food that came out looked delicious. If it’s beer you need and are in the neighbourhood then this place is a must .. Comes recommended.. Enjoy .

“Good beer!”
Nice location away from the bustle of Takeshita Street. Baird beer = delicious. Staff were friendly enough, but service poor and slow. One guy kept apologising for forgetting stuff, but then continued to do so. Had to ask for the bill FOUR times! Was a bit disappointed that the beer flight didn...’t come on a tray/labelled. Luckily it was only my first drink, so could remember which one was which! The food looked nice, will try next time. Visit for the beer.

“Great Spot for a Cold Craft Beer”
A dozen plus beers on tap plus sake and Sochu and some bites if you are hungry. Take a break from the shopping and pop in for a beer. English seems to be the primary language so no language barrier. Plus the beers are fantastic

“Great stop”
This taproom provided a really nice spot to stop during a day of sight seeing. The place is nice and comfortable for anyone or any age. Friendly staff and service. The beer was all really good, Rising Sun, was my favorite. The beers all come in sample sizes to large glasses, very good selection. ...The food is shockingly good and was a welcome surprise. Try the pickles, edamame, or chicken and bleu cheese rolls. Overall a nice place to have a beer or three and rest during a day of walking.
