Travelled to Edina by train to meet relatives . We had an hour to spare before they were picking us up and it was lunch time and being a bit hungry we found this food court and walked around to see what took our fancy When I saw this Indian place I thought that will be a nice change so I ordered the...ir lunch special. They cook it while you wait so the nan bread was super fresh, it was chicken with chick pea curry and a small bit of lettuce topped with a little mayonnaise. You also get a drink, I had the orange drink . Took about ten minutes to be ready, they give you a buzzer so you can wander off and come back when it starts ringing. You then sit at one of the tables in the food court to eat. Place is very popular, busy the whole time we were there.

Ebina is one corner of Kanagawa prefecture...in my wildest dreams I couldn’t have thought of an Indian restaurant here. Located just next to ebina station and 2-3 minutes walk from okura frontier hotel, darbar is on level-1 (ground floor) inside food court of the building which is called 0101. Staff... is friendly and always offer an extra naan free when you order a set...literally a saviour !!

Location: Walkable from Ebina station. Located in the food court at the ground floor in the Vina Walk area. I got a curry set for 680 Yen for lunch. It had a nan, curry of our choice and a salad. Depending on whether you pay 100 (you can choose one from coke, Ginger ale, and 3 more options to choos...e) or 300 (you can choose one from Mango lassi, Mango juice and again couple more which am unable to exactly recollect) yen more, you can top your meal up with a drink of your choice. And there were absolutely quite more meal options to choose. Except for a Japanese at the cash counter, everyone else were Indians and hence you could easily get all your queries sorted out in case you don't know Japanese. Like in any other Indian restaurant in Japan, the Naan served was quite long (easily 80-85% of 1 foot long size), salad was mainly cabbage topped with Mayonnaise and the Veg curry I chose was really Indian and pretty good. One of the restaurant employees who helped with the order was also so good enough to request whether he could provide me one more Naan free of cost though that necessarily was not part of the meal set. Time taken to prepare was less than 10 minutes. To be a little critical, an Indian restaurant by name Neel Gagan in Hon-Atsugi (two stations away from Ebina) provides lunch set for 700 Yen including the drink apart from the same set of items I had mentioned above. Maybe the location of Darbar is a bit posh. But no complaints. So overall a good experience.

My husband and I love curry and we try to eat here as often as possible. We've eaten here multiple times and they never disappoint. He really loves spicy so they make it hot enough for him. The people are very nice and since we are regular customers sometimes they treat us with extra nan or yogurt ...milk. Love them!
