“Stylish bar in central Susukino”
We stumbled upon this bar while searching for a nice place to drink in Susukino. It seems to be quite popular as there were a bunch of people even on Monday evening. The view from the top floor is quite nice (though not worth paying a lot of money for). It is not exactly cheap, considering the cockt...ails are small and there is hardly any alcohol in them. But they taste good and even have a glowing "ice" cube. The Matcha Mojito is very delicious. You can order some snacks with the drinks and an appetizer is included with the table charge. An all-you-can-drink plan (excluding fancy drinks) is available.

“No Bladerunner”
Smokey, watered down drinks, no Bladerunner, music too loud But....centrally located with a decent view of the city lights (and close to Ramen Alley).

“Views and cocktails”
Situated right near the Susukino station, you get views from the 9th floor. We went on a Friday evening around 6.30pm for pre dinner drinks and the place was relatively empty (much to our surprise). It's a small bar with good views over Susukino. We were offered the all you can drink for 90mins (¥21...00 per person) but note that the cocktail list is limited. We then opted for the ala carte (greater variety of cocktails at around ¥700-800 each). The cocktails were not v consistent - some rather watered down and some quite strong. I think they are better known for their sweet style cocktails and their classics are not quite as good. Reviews seem to say it's full of expats but the night we were there, most were young locals. Maybe we were too early for the expat crowd.

“Convenient Expat Hangout with a good view”
Visited on a weekday evening to check out the (in)famous Susukino district of Sapporo. After taking a look at a couple red light zones we wanted to get a taste of the party scene. Frankly, if you're looking for a local bar experience, this probably isn't the place to do it. When we were there, ab...out half the clientale was foreign... and not even tourists, just expats living in Sapporo. Well.. expats do tend to follow the party so we weren't discouraged by this and stepped on it.. but that night there really just wasn't anything on. While the place was pretty full, everyone was very absorbed in quiet conversation at their own tables. Decoration is sort of a club/bar hybrid type arrangement. Lighting is pretty dim, music wasn't too loud when we were there. Overall, the place looked and felt quite aged, with most of the furniture worn and the place overall just not well maintained. The drinks were pretty abysmal. I think this is really the sort of place to go to get smashed, as they offer a number of packages which feature "unlimited drinks for an hour" and the like. The drinks menu is quite long and varied, but would avoid their house recommended list unless you love very syrupy/over sweetened cocktails. The regular club/bar type drinks like highballs, gin and tonics, mojitos, etc were drinkable but not memorable. A number of folks were ordering the food there... we came after dinner so really not sure if the food is better than the drinks. They gave complimentary popcorn. On the plus side for this place though is that the view is quite alright--you get a birds eye view of the Susukino district from the high windows, which is fun--and pricing is quite reasonable though the drinks are somewhat underwhelming. Particularly if you go for one of the all you can drink arrangements--I reckon you can get your dollars worth quite quickly if you try. Maybe we just came here with the wrong agenda but overall was a rather worn out place with poor drinks and nothing happening.
