Quite old japanese style hamburger rice with low price! 1 piece cost 880 yen 2 pieces cost 1100 yen! The taste balance with the price. Good to stop and eat if you feel extremely hungry

Hitting Abashiri in winter, walking largely deserted streets in the middle of the day it was looking unlikely that we were going to find someplace to eat. Still we found this restaurant and the plastic food had some reasonable selections in the window. However, the menu inside had about a third of ...the displayed meals unavailable. So we took a punt and picked two meals. The prices were average , if maybe a little high for some meals (1100-2500¥). The food was good (drinks not included), they were a bit big for my partner and myself, but big eaters should be ok. Then people finishing their meals started to light up cigarettes. For such a small restaurant this was too much and the extraction fans didn't remove it. However, on the positive the lady shuffling between tables was attentive and cheery, even entertaining in a motherly way. If Japanese isn't your first choice then about a 800m away on the main road (not far from the Dormy Inn) you'll find a KFC. Still give this restaurant a go if you want to try a largely meat oriented menu that fills.

Old school menu and shop, looks like it hasn't changed since the 80s. Place looks old and smoky, they allow smoking inside the restaurant  (to my dismay). Kitchen is open concept ( which probably explains why is so smoky, be prepared to walk away smelling like the kitchen. Had the chicken chop & b...eef steak combo. Beef steak was overly salty, chicken chop was tasteless, the only saving grace was the potato salad and the serving portions are huge.

Me and my girlfriend decided to eat here when we visited Abashiri. Definitely a place to visit for something to eat if your in the town. Friendly staff and good food.
