“Friendly staff great food”
On arrival - speaking no Japanese - we were greeted by friendly staff who accommodated our local illiteracy. We were well looked after, the food was fresh and delicious, the beer cold and the price good value.

“Good value and interesting ”
Beautiful fresh seafood and interesting menu. Only complaint was that the map shows it on the wrong side of Asukara dori. Look for the big sign on the footpath and slide the door open. There's nothing in English outside but they have an English menu. Ask about the specials... they're only in Japane...se!

“Great food and good staff with reasonable price”
I went there without reservation on Saturday night. It was very busy and all tables and counter were book. But I was welcomed if one hour was ok with me. It was enough for me. Hakodate is famous for ikasashi, squid sashimi. Of course I ordered it. It was reasonable and fresh and tasty.

“Great seafood”
Monsterously large oysters, live Octopus at the table, seafood and crab hotpot, all done very well. Topped off with Sapporo Classic Beer. Great food, recommended
