“A pleasant and efficient breakfast place.”
If you stayed in Fav Hotel, they give you a different menu choices. And if you want cooked fish, the choices are Hokke, salted cod or pink salmon. Just remember to order the right fish. They are pleasant enough but felt like they treated us differently as we were from the hotel.

“Breakfast at the market”
Believe it or not at 6am people queued up at this restaurant to get a place. We waited 15 mins got a seat and ordered our favorite uni, Ikura and kani. Translated sea urchin, fish roe and crab. Taste was amazing and very fresh. We had a side order of grilled salmon stomach but price was high. Much b...etter with the rice bowls dishes. Anyway great choice of restaurant, will not mind returning.

“Not a memorable experience”
After visiting other restaurants at the Hakodate morning market, I must say that the food at this restaurant does not match up well against the others. The seafood is not very fresh, and you can get much better portions at the same price at other places... they also serve grilled and salted salmon ...but I’ve found that unlike this place, other restaurants would freshly grill their salmon so that has a splendid crispy exterior while remaining tender inside...

“Neither terrible nor impressive.”
The taste of the seafood was just average, and we felt the layer of seafood in the sanshoku kaisen don (1800 Yen) was a little thin. I will say though that their cooked and salted salmon isn’t too shabby. (Sanshoku kaisen don is one where you can pick three types of seafood. In my case, I picked cra...b, Uni and scallop.)

“Good Japanese restaurant”
The restaurant is located near the JR station and the bus/tram stop. Tourists can easily find the restaurant. Food quality here is good. I did enjoy the meal here.
