“Fun experience”
Went here in February specifically because they have halal meat for the Genghis Khan. Very fun experience. I'm not much of a meat eater but I was able to eat way more lamb than I usually can. They slice the lamb quite thin. Vegetables were just sprouts, onion and cabbage. I asked for extra onion (I ...got the all you can eat). Also, it was well ventilated. I didn't feel my clothes got as stinky as they do at Sapporo Beer Garden Genghis Khan.

“Nice meet and drink, rooms for a group, efficient management of the staffs, No smoking”
For the people born out of Hokkaido. This is not a general restaurant, it is a beer hall serving mutton / lamb BBQ ( called "Genghis Kahn" deriving from the emperor of the Mongol. No relation. ). Whenever I go home, I visit this BBQ house with my family and friends, for mother never allowed to eat... it in the house ; it becomes greasy everywhere. The ideal is to appreciate it outside, but this restaurant does not have the outside space for it is located in the city-center - not urban. It won't be enjoyable for the people who do not like lamb and have nice clothes.

“Commercialized and ok food”
It was very packed on Friday night but we managed to get a room for 6. We thought of sitting at the beer hall but was not impressed with it as it looked more like a canteen. The rooms are quite greasy and ventilation is not very good. Service was courteous and efficient. There were English menus ...and lots of pictures. The beer was refreshing and light. The food was ok. I doubt I’ll visit again but it was ok for a one time experience. Nothing too special.
