“Highly recommend this restaurant!”
The service was great and the food was excellent! The ingredients used were fresh and exactly what we expected from such a fine Japanese restaurant.

“Great clean place to eat.”
The food was very good. I had the pork and it was cooked perfect. It was clean and quiet in our own eating area. I recommend eating here. Next time I’ll try the tempura.

“Great sashimi.”
Excellent meal and fast service. English translation on the menu makes it easy to order what you want. We had crab rice, sashimi, salad and pickles - some of the best we’ve had this holiday. We will be back for the king crab tomorrow.

“Staggeringly Expensive and Truly Delicious Kaisendon”
Located directly facing Hakodate's famous Morning Market (fish market), Araki is not the worst choice if you're looking for food based on super fresh fish. We wanted to try kaisendon - a bowl of rice with sashimi on top (basically a portioned type of nigiri sushi) - and Araki certainly delivers. W...e got one bowl with assorted raw fish & roe and one bowl with two cuts of pure, raw tuna. The quality was unmatched, as was the price. 2 kaisendon + 2 beers = 9,900 yen. Included in the purchase is a bowl of miso soup and some pickled vegetables. Plus, there's a kind of salad buffet along with juice, water, tea, and coffee included in the price. Expensive but delightful.

“Araki restaurant food review”
The miso soup, some pickle side dishes, apple juice, coffee, hojicha and sky juice are available for free refilled. The environment is very nice and privacy. The original roasted squid with some lemon is very delicious enough. We spending 1600 Yen for 2 persons dine in.
