“Too expensive vs size of portions ”
We went there just after arriving at night in the city. It is a kind of Izakaya which serves many kind of food. It seems to specialize in all you can drink in 2 hours for a fixed price. We did not select this. While the quality of the food was OK, it is more the size of portions which is small. Man...y dishes are also too salty, probably to push you too drink more. We've had some sushi, but they forgot about wasabi for the adults. Yakitori, a bit too salty, tomatoes, abalone 980¥ much smaller than the picture, tuna carpaccio 680¥ for 6 small pieces half of sashimi size, shiitake butter 580¥ for 3 or 4 small size mushrooms cut into small pieces and too salty, beef calbi roasted 980¥ maybe 8 slices of 2,5 square cm beef but too salty... The 2 good surprises came from homemade(?) Tofu 430¥ and Thaïland style marinated chicken in coconut milk with spices Gaian 680¥ for a leg. For drinks mixed expérience my Lemon Hi was disgusting, bitter taste but no lemon while my wife drink was good. Portions are really small, for example 220¥ for 1 sushi tuna and 170¥ one sushi salmon. However they are only sold by 2 pieces... when we ordered 3 of a kind the last one never came despite a reminder. The bad expérience came with the bill where we noticed a cover charge of 380¥ per person for the non descript salad served upon arrival. Total of 11,500¥ for 4 with 2 Kids. It would have been 6,000 to 8,000¥ anywhere else. They refused to take into consideration the 10% off coupon they gave us outside because "we did not show it at the time of order". Be careful, it seems they put a lot of those flyers in hotels popular with tourists.
