From the minute we were greeted by the Maître de and our personal server this was clearly going to be a special experience- We were guided to our private room with a magnificent ocean view - The server was absolutely immaculately presented and her mannerisms embodied the nature of Japanese hospi...tality The drinks menu was exceptional with local and international offerings We opted for the full set menu - A wise choice I feel- it would be hard to order a more gracefully matched menu set that was presented - every aspect of the menu was beautifully Balanced, put together with eminent skill and presented with a Typical Japanese grace that left us wanting for nothing- I would only say that the desert was slightly clumsy compared to the day of the menu- but this is a hyper critical comment Highly recommend Keiseki Kira as a venue to judge others against- will return

A nice tatami floored private dining room with beautiful views of the bay awaited us for our lunch. The owner , who had asked about our nationality while booking the table, had prepared several phrases in our own language to greet us and explain about the food - a really kind gesture which made us f...eel welcome. The service was attentive and friendly and the food delicious and well presented. Thank you ! The only suggestion I can make is to somehow make it possible for English speaking guests to reserve a table via the website or via Google - we had our table reserved over the telephone by our Japanese guide , but not everyone has this option.

Delicious and beautifully presented food cannot begin to describe my dining experience. Every group gets a private room overlooking a majestic view of the sea, we had dinner there so looking out the windows you can see a postcard perfect picture. Every food arrives perfectly timed, just enough for s...mall relaxing talks before you are again hit by the colors and tastes of japanese cuisine. Our guide said that only a small no.of clients are allowed everyday so that every dish the chef prepares guarantees an unforgetable meal that would make you want to come back again

We went there due to our tour trip to Hakodate.The guides said that this restaurant is famous among the local.Was suprised on how pretty,elegant this small restaurant is.Amazed on how each dish came with georgeous look and superb taste. The owner/chef even prepared each one of us with special quotes... to open our meal. Thumbs up for her and the whole staff.Oishiiiii and thank you for the excellent,warmth service

We went by car, a little way up Mt Hakodate, ample parking space. The traditional Japanese courtesy and greeting from the minute you enter ,brings a warm glow to the heart. The food is impeccable and so prettily arranged, begging to be photographed. The soft ambience, the ample time for conversatio...n between courses, truly a luxury to enjoy with stomach , heart, mind and soul. The night view , a romantic date spot or just friends or family. Preferable to take a taxi from your hotel and enjoy your sake !
