炉ばた

Went to a traditional restaurant for dinner, cooked by an elderly lady. She has no smile and the lady that served us also is quite grumpy. Food is just ok but if you want to experience a traditional grilled food this is the place.

以前に比べて酷い。時間制。しかも一時間でラストオーダー。こう人をなめてはすたると思う。炉端まもるおばあちゃんも口はずっとへの字。なんていうあぐらかき、もう行きません。Here was best 10 years before. Now not to worth to visit. Expensive and no service spirits. You will be expelled in one hour although you wait for half an hour. Better to visit others. I do not to recommend it.

炉ばた焼きの選択肢が溢れる釧路市の中でもっとも伝統のあるお店のようです。食べた野菜や時知の味と、それを焼いているすてきなおばあちゃんの姿で納得。平日夜遅く、独り占めできたので、雰囲気も存分楽しめました。一つだけ文句言うなら、塩分を控えめにしたらいいなと思います。このお店の問題というよりは、北海道のどこへ行ってもそう思ったけど。Many restaurants offer the same "Japanese seafood barbecue style" (robata) in Kushiro, but this is supposedly the one with the longest h...istory. Judging by the taste and the old lady in charge of preparing this great food, I tend to believe the hype. Had the entire place just for myself, so the atmosphere and photo opportunities were also great : ) If to point something to be improved, it would be the amount of salt. I think there is room to reduce it (but I felt the same about many restaurants in Hokkaido, so not a specific problem of this place).

Very special ambience and fine fish, well cooked and fine. Looks amazing to set around the oven an taste the fine food with a good beer. Special recommendation for everybody coming here.

Just a wonderful experience. The service was perfect, so helpful and such good English. The grilled fish and vegetables were so well done and tasted delicious. But it is the atmosphere in this beautiful old building that makes the whole experience so unique. We will take good memories of our time in... Kushiro back to the UK.
