“A lovely sophisticated dinner.”
After researching several possibilities we settled on La Brique. We were not disappointed at all. Each course was delicious and well presented by a friendly, professional, but not intrusive staff. The restaurant is just the right size for an enjoyable quiet dinner. The wine and champagne list is ver...y impressive featuring a wide enough variety to choose from. We would certainly dine there again when in Sapporo. It was a pleasure to meet the chef as well.

“French bistro deserves more accolades”
This was a backup French eatery recommenced by concierge. Only one other occupied table at lunch. The amuse bouse of bite-size beef crochet on onion cream whetted our appetite. We had a dense (small portions yet filling) 5 courses meal. All dishes kept getting better. The baked fish mousse (...topped with crab and uni) in shrimp sauce scored as the best dish, with the chicken artichoke soup coming second (even though artichoke has never been our favourite). Being a crazy fan of carbohydrates, a note on their service of bread must not be omitted: instead of having a basket full of bread which got cooled off soon, French rolls and baguette pieces were served throughout the meal at the perfect pace, all were warm, moist and delicious. It should only be fair to say something on the butter - they served it in the most beautiful way, making bread taste more delicious! Flawless service and there was a decent selection on wine. It certainly deserves more accolades.

“A Sapporo gem!”
Sleek, elegant place serving French/Italian food with Japanese touches using local Hokkaido ingredients! Omakase lunch menu was unbelievable! Easily one of the best meals we've ever had in Sapporo, let alone Japan. You can also select a great bottle of wine at their wine shop next door and enjoy it ...with your meal... They charge a little for corkage though so don't be surprised. Staff are extremely professional yet friendly and attentive! The chef also came out to say hi...You would be insane not to eat here...

“Far above expectation”
Being the first customer for their lunch section, the service is a little bit slow at the beginning, but all of wait staff picked up the pace quickly. All of the ingredient are creditably fresh and well executed. I particularly enjoyed their lamp dish which is so tender and moist, one of the best la...mp dish I've tried. One more thing, save room for their Canelés, perfect!
