Visited for weekday lunch. We enjoyed all the dishes. Very fresh, well plating, perfect portions, great service and beautiful decor. There’s smaller parking lot for four vehicle closer to the restaurant building. Recommend to make a reservation before you go.

We have visited Maccarina twice in recent weeks. It was superb on both occasions. It’s a lovely location and purpose built restaurant located in front of the Makkari Onsen. The meals are beautifully prepared and presented. The starter plate of salad and vegetables is impeccable. Each morsel had a... unique flavour and texture. The whole set was very enjoyable. Most who appreciate fine dining, will really enjoy this restaurant. It’s generally a set menu style. The prices are very reasonable for the level of this product. Not really that suitable for kids. I can’t see this place getting a bad review. I note some very old bad reviews but I doubt any Patron would be too disappointed here. Bookings highly recommended.

Food is fresh and nice, very yummy. Didn't expected and it is really a good surprise. Service is kind and warm. I ordered pork set menu, wow, really beautiful. I want to highlight also the French bread, very crispy and soft. Highly recommend restaurant. Must try.

For an understated French influence this eatery is for me, the best lunchtime fine dining experience. Its a 20 min drive from Niseko Village ski resort and features a cosy open fire and open kitchen. I recommend the 7- course degustation to sample the best flavours of the season.

One of few places for fine dining in this area. Nice presentation with Ingredients sourced locally. Cozy ambient without many tourist around. Pleasant change from otherwise a crowded tourist resort. Loving fireplace an the entrance
