Wabisuke is located a bit away from Sapporo central area. We accessed via the ST subway getting off at Motomachi. Wabisuke is actually marked on the subway map, interestingly. If I recall correctly, Motomachi is about 4 stations away from Sapporo ST. The walk from Motomachi station takes about 1...0-15 minutes. For drivers, there is a large parking lot right opposite the shop. Ordering is done via machine near the entrance. The ramens mostly cost in range of 700-850 yen. Not sure if they have English--we ended up reading the kanji to order. They've the standard range (soy sauce, salt, miso) and We got a shio and dan dan ramen plus a side of gyoza. The style of ramen here is actually a little different for Hokkaido ramen (though they do say they are famous for miso type). The shio is good, basic and flavorful, but does not include much in way of sides (so add yourself at the machine). The dan dan men was really not very spicy at all, honestly, which was disappointing, but still quite spiced up with herbs and the like and the minced meat was an interesting addition for Japanese ramen. The noodles at Wabisuke are quite thin and not too firm, more like Tokyo style, and lighter on alkaline flavor and colour. The broth was also more complex than some of the ones offered at the Ramen streets and malls. Overall they were some of the finer bowls we had in Hokkaido. I am admittedly not a special fan of Hokkaido-style ramen... but I liked this one (maybe because it was a bit different). Quality was good. Though a bit off the beaten path, would recommend checking it out if for whatever reason you pass through Motomachi area.
