“Rip off with false advertising”
Complete rip off. The photo advertises as a value set but when you order it for 2 people you get exactly what is in the photo. Allegedly the photo is of 2 portions. Nowhere does it say this

“I was craving a good steak. . .”
After two weeks of ramen, tonkatsu and curry, I was craving a good steak. I had walked past Paris 21e a couple of times and decided to try it out. There were only two other diners there--more staff than diners! They were extremely friendly and very efficient. The waiter made a couple of suggestions,... gave me the wi-fi password and after I ordered, they left me to it. I ordered one of Wagyu steak 'sets' which included fritte, salad and a bread roll. The steak was perfectly cooked (IMHO) and tasted great. I also had a Kirin dark beer which paired perfectly. An excellent meal at an affordable 3800 yen (about $40) with the beer. I would not hesitate to return.

“Great Steak house in Kyoto”
After two weeks eating Japanese food our kids and I were craving for Western food. After visiting Nikishi market we came across this restaurant . It is ambiented as a French brasserie. Meat was great, good serving size and friendly staff. Great alternative to Japanese food.

“French name, American food”
After spending two weeks touring Japan, I still hadn’t had my fill of the local cuisine. I could live on sushi, gyoza, tonkatsu, tempura, and anything Asian. But my teenage son was out of his element and craved “normal cuisine” that reminded him of home. Ironically, it was Paris 21e that proved to b...e that American-style, French-named jewel hiding near our hotel in Kyoto, where practically nothing on the menu reminded us of French cuisine and everything seemed to be good ol’ American cooking. The French bread was very fresh and authentic, but all traces of France ended there. Enjoying tender steak, crispy fried chicken, french fries with ketchup, and potato wedges, it felt like we were back in the states. Don’t let the name of the restaurant fool you, there’s nothing Parisian going on here. We did see a French family perusing the menu. They seemed a little confused. But they seemed to enjoy their meal.
