“Worst steak I’ve eaten in Japan”
Went as a family of four. Had a variety of food and drink. The good: The pizza was pretty decent and the chicken was ok. The lamb was nice too (but a little over seasoned) Service was prompt. Kids enjoyed the rice The bad: Having spent the best part of a month in Japan travelling across Tokyo..., Kanazawa, Kyoto and Osaka - eating various cuts of meat, the serloin steaks we ordered were by a distance the worst we’ve had. First set of steaks were sent back for being overcooked and the replacements were grey, unevenly cooked, grisly and tasteless. I did not eat mine. We had them taken off the bill, but the member of staff was far from impressed (he was either mad at us for not paying or mad at his chefs - we weren’t sure). By the end of it all I was glad to be out of there. It’s also below the train line so it’s a very noisy place.
