Totally awesome experience You sit at the counter, watching the skilled chef meticulously prepare your food: your beef and your vegetables. The taste is full and rich. Pricy? Yes! And worth it. Ps: the 130 g. portion was plenty for us.

Managed to squeeze in on a Tuesday night. I stepped up to the authentic Kobe Beef ribeye rather than the standard ribeye and I’m glad I did. It was the experience I hoped for when I set out to eat Kobe Beef in Kobe! The chef was a real professional, exacting at every point. While he asked for my p...references along they way, I respectfully asked him to do his best work and it paid off. He sectioned the meal in such a way that subtle changes brought out amazingly wonderful flavors. The staff were courteous and professional as well by always ensuring my every need was met. When I was done, I left with a smile on my face and feeling like a king. I hadn’t just eaten delicious Kobe Beef in Kobe, I had eaten delicious Kobe Beef in Kobe at the historic Mouriya!

The restaurant graciously let us dine in without reservation, Front desk receptionist understood we were here for a day and helped my daughter to enjoy the dinner experience. The customer service is great, Miyaji was awesome, very friendly. Chef Koumoto is amazing, explained everything and the exper...ience very pleasant. The food just melts in the mouth, salad, soup, main course excellent. Highly recommend this place.

I know there are several steak restuarants in Kobe and it might be worth trying something different but this place was amazing. The chef put on quite the show and knew exactly what we wanted. All the dishes were perfectly cooked. I highly recommend their exclusive cuts. The wine list was also qu...ite good. We will be back.

Amazing and amazing beef. Great Chief Cook and perfect atmosphere. I love this place. Definitely You have to stop and enjoy great beef there.
