“Excellent Japanese atmosphere and food”
Dined at numerous restaurants during our stay in Kyoto. Despite going to several star rated restaurants, Saami stood out as an excellent choice. Many places with higher prices was not as good as Saami. The food and presentation very good and service excellent. If you are looking for a good Ka...iseki dinner, I would recommend Saami. The price is also reasonable.

“Exotic shabushabu dining experience.”
Shabushabu is a delectable form of Japanese hotpot, for which wafer-thin slices of beef and pork, and fresh raw vegetables are boiled together at tableside. Sauces were provided in which to dip the cooked meat and vegetables. The meal was accompanied by bowls of boiled rice and sliced green onions. ... Two geishas performed traditional dances, and assisted the waiters in serving food and drinks. Overall, a pleasant experience of a popular form of Japanese dining.
