“Good value meal”
good value with steamed box rice , with tempura soba. more other dishes to choose from, steamed box rice is better option

“Tasty and Inexpensive”
When a reservation at a fancy, expensive place fell through, I wandered the street near Honmachi Station and found this friendly gem. It's small, unpretentious, and cheap. They serve predominantly (hot or cold) soba, a very healthy choice. The noodles are served with every food item imaginable-eel, ...duck, and tempura are featured. I had mine with shrimp and veggie tempura and a side of cold eggplant and veggies as an afterthought. With a small jug of sake, my bill was 2500 Yen. The server spoke pretty good English and was very friendly. If there weren't so many good places t eat in this city, I'd go back!
