“Sant-Angelo does Italian cuisine great”
As a world traveler who has been to Italy many times before, Sant-Angelo restaurant in Osaka Japan is far more superior in terms of execution of flavors, freshness, and customer experience. We had the couple set menu which included Fresh Salad, Margarita Pizza, Lobster Pasta, Entrecôte Steak, Tirami...su, and after dinner beverages for the equivalent of about 15 USD or 5000 yen. You cannot get an appetizer in Italy for that price point. The decor & ambiance brought us back to Florence and the service was undoubtedly Japanese with their proper etiquette. For a truly authentic Italian cuisine experience in Osaka, Sant Angelo will transport you to Italy thanks to their excellent preparation & presentation.

“Rude person”
Went there without reservation but the place was full, the person was really impolite compared with other places we have been.

“My vegetarian pizza made me so happy!”
Unlike many restaurants in Japan, they were kind enough to change my pizza from the standard on the menu. I got a tomato base with mozzarella and seasonal vegetables. They had a few trips to the chef and manager to check but they agreed - and it was delicious! When it arrives I couldn’t stop smiling... as I find it so hard to get something like this. That and I was starving hungry! The tiramisu I order was exceedingly light and fluffy, melting in the mouth. It wasn’t layered and lacked the biscuit parts, so not sure you could strictly call it tiramisu - but was very nice nonetheless. Apart from that, the service was top-notch with plenty of helpful smiley staff. It was someone’s birthday and they had an staff member playing the accordion and while all the other staff and customers sang happy birthday. It was delightful! They had an English menu but I can read enough Japanese to get by without. The interior was welcoming and all was as it should be. The pizza cost as much as I would expect from a restaurant like this. Drinks were average price and the desserts were pretty cheap with a nice selection for only ¥600 each. I highly recommend if you are need something without meat, though I suspect the mascarpone cheese may not have been strictly vegetarian.

“Perfect Atmosphere!”
This place is really comfortable and classy. You can practically see Italy all around with the gaudy decorations and the fine wine collection. The pasta is genuine Italian with a fine touch and the desserts are unique! A great place for a date!

A nice pizza joint , it’s a hidden gem , pizza is better than Chicago joints . Amazing of your are tired of sushi come here
