Christmas fare served in the restaurant in the Umeda area was relatively simple but elegant and totally satisfying. For the year end season, the restaurant served a 7-course dinner fare which started with a very nice amuse-bouche which was followed by a selection of cold seasonal hors d’oeuvres. The... truffle and abalone risotto which followed was exquisite. A fresh catch from Kochi prefecture followed. A potato portage then preceded the main dish which was a nice tender steak served with red wine sauce (for a small charge, the restaurant would offer wagyu beef instead). We chose both which were equally delicious. Dessert was a flambé dish prepared at your table and the maître d added a nice touch by offering a small bouquet to my partner as well as a photograph taken and printed for us as a keepsake. A wonderful and enjoyable evening with an equally fine French cuisine experience.

Arranged for business lunch here as I was staying in the hotel Portion was small, the restaurant was extremely inflexible about the servings + arrangements. Basically not good value for money + bad service

This was the second time we go to this restaurant. We visited again because of tasty memory on 31 December last year. This time the Autumn menu was even more tasty. The aroma of Matsutake mushroom was great. The mushroom plate was really fantastic. The causal atmosphere kept us relaxed without payin...g too much attention on authentic French table manner. The restaurant staff was nice and helpful and could speak fluent English. One thing could be improved was sound-proofing. Both times we came across a group of customers who were quite noisy.

This restaurant is conveniently located above the Hotel Granvia Osaka. It was part of our tour, hence the choice of this restaurant & the menu was not ours.However, we were pleasantly surprised because the food was good & the place is great. It truly lived up to its name.
