I have to say |I am extremely impressed with all the restaurants we visited in Osaka. I am especially impressed with the great French pastry bakeries throughout the city. They were all quite good. We visited many traditional Japanese restaurants and they were all exceptional. However, I am impre...ssed with all the French, Italian and Spanish restaurants. They were all so good and authentic. I have visited Italy, Spain and France on many occasions in my travels and have loved the local foods in these countries. But I have to say that Japan does a wonderful job of recreating the atmospheres, flavours, tastes and essence of the foods in these countries. This restaurant does a wonderful job of providing wonderful Basque cuisine. RIght down to the wonderful Spanish regional wine choices. We had the smoked cheese appetizer and the shrimp salad which was amazing. The lamb shoulder entree and cow cheeks were authentic and reminded our party of the wonderful tastes of Spain. The staff is very attentive although their english is not very good so you may have to rely on your high school Spanish. Great restaurant and worth every cent.
