This place is out of this world! We got the highest grade meat and had it cooked medium rare and we absolutely loved it! My husband and were eating our way around Japan ~ mostly fish/sushi ~ so we were both excited about finally having a carnivorous meal! BOY ~ this place did NOT disappoint! The... meat was so tender and literally melted in your mouth! and those garlic chips! WOW! LOVED! We had our hotel concierge book reservations for a Saturday evening ~ but we got to the restaurant earlier and they were very accommodating. The place doesn't get busy until around 7 ~ so if you plan on coming on/after that time ~ I would recommend reservations.

I had read a lot about the quality of Kobe Wagyu Beef, and I have to say that it is one of the most wonderful food i have tasted ever. I love meat, and specially beef, and a travel to Kobe in order to enjoy this food worth the trip. The restaurant has a michelin star, and it is a counted seat resta...urant (around 10-12) in front of chefs, consequently you must have a reservation (the only problem about that is the reservation should be do in Japanese by phone, but the hotel can do the call for you). You can enjoy showing chef's doing dinner live in the teppanyaki (japanese grill), so you will eat directly from the grill. We ate a Kobe beef menu (there are some kinds of menus, from 9.000 Y each + 10% service charge), which included some starters like salad, and miso soup and pickles at the end. Furthermore, the meal includes fresh fruit as a desert. The beef was absolutly wonderful, very soft and juicy, simply fantastic. The attention of staff was great and the bill was around 30.000 Y for 2 person. The experience of eat probably one of the best beef of the world in this restaurant is highly recommended.
