“Awesome intimate dining experience!!”
My brother and I wanted a great view of the Dotonbori and found this gem of a restaurant (on the 4th floor- elevator is next to yoshinoya). It's very small but packed with a welcoming staff and lots of sake and beer choices to loosen you up. We don't speak a lot of Japanese but the menu has lots of... pictures. We asked a fellow patron for his recommendations and honestly everything was delicious. The staff was helpful and was happy to practice their english on us. This Makoya is owned by a young business woman and her friends all under 30 we were their first foreigners to visit. I hope this review gets them more... Also because it's on the 4th floor facing the popular Dotonbori canal get a table so you can see all the lights.
